I personally love Namwa bananas in Thailand because they are naturally sweeter and have a firmer, chewier texture compared to the more widely available bananas. However, for this recipe, I will be using bananas from Madeira, Portugal, which also have a great flavor and work just as well as Namwa bananas.

In Thailand, we have many varieties of bananas, and we use them to make a wide range of desserts, such as grilled bananas (Kluay Ping), banana in coconut milk (Kluay Buat Chi), steamed banana cake (Khanom Kluay), and sticky rice with banana (Khao Tom Mud), among others.
For this recipe, I’ve put a twist on bananas to create a brownie version! 🍌🍫✨

I've just cooked these and I'm not sure I can wait until our mealtime to try one - they look so delicious! I used our standard oven for cooking, at the same temperature, but twice as long, then turned the oven off and left them in to cool down.
